1st FLOOR FRAME COMPLETED

It was raining on and off today so after work I went around to our block not expecting much. My heart almost popped out of my chest when I saw what had been accomplished . The first floor frame is just about complete. There were heaps of men working and they were going flat out.

This is such an exciting stage. We have spent 2 years on the planning/bankrupting/everything possible going wrong. The house has only been on paper and never 'real'. As it becomes a 3 dimensional reality it now seems surreal, I can't believe it.

This is the front (Northern) side of our house. The big hole on the left is a window and the big hole on the right is the front door.

The Eastern Side of the House.

 Left hand hole is for the bi-fold doors to the dining room. 

The middle hole is the big kitchen window. 

The Right hand hole is for the bifold doors coming off the living room. We are going to have ample morning sun.

 Western Wall- Where the powder room and laundry are going to be.

North Western Corner- the little square hole is a window.
